Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Windows Security Engineer to join our team and support our client IEHP in securing and optimizing their Windows-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in patch management, system hardening, remediation, and vulnerability management with a deep understanding of Windows technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Patch Management
- Apply critical security patches to Windows Server and Client OS
- Maintain infrastructure stability with regular updates
- Leverage tools like WSUS, SCCM for patch deployment
- Configuration Hardening
- Implement security best practices to minimize system vulnerabilities
- Harden systems by configuring registry keys, permissions, and access settings
- Remediation Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute remediation plans based on vulnerability assessments
- Align with industry standards such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001
- Incident Response
- Collaborate with security teams to identify root causes of breaches
- Assist in mitigation strategies post-incident
- Reporting & Communication
- Generate detailed vulnerability and risk reports
- Communicate risks and remediation plans to stakeholders
- Strong experience in Windows Systems Administration
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy
- Hands-on with WSUS, SCCM, PatchMyPC
- Proficient with vulnerability tools like Qualys
- Strong scripting in PowerShell
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals – encryption, access control, threat modeling
- Experience in both Windows Server and Client OS platforms
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
